World of Hyatt has launched several promotions in the last few weeks, including a way for members to earn double points on qualifying international stays and 1,000 bonus points per night at eligible Dream Hotels.
Now, Hyatt has another promotion, allowing those with the World of Hyatt Credit Card to receive a 20% discount on award stays at Hyatt’s independent brands.
Here’s the scoop on Hyatt’s current promotions.
20% of your points back on select award stays

For stays before Sept. 17, World of Hyatt Credit Card members can register to receive a 20% rebate on points redeemed at various Hyatt Independent Collection brands worldwide. That includes properties in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Destination by Hyatt and JdV by Hyatt. You can receive the 20% rebate on a variety of point redemptions, including free night awards (booked entirely using points), Points + Cash stays, room upgrades, dining and spa services.
Card members can earn up to 30,000 points back per transaction, and Hyatt will credit these bonus points approximately four weeks after the completion of the redemption stay.
Registration is required by Aug. 15 at this link.
Earn 1,000 bonus points per night at Dream Hotels
HYATT/DREAM HOTEL GROUP
In November, Hyatt announced plans to acquire Dream Hotel Group’s smaller lifestyle brand. Currently, these Dream Hotels properties are part of World of Hyatt’s portfolio:
Dream Downtown (New York City)
Dream Hollywood
Dream Midtown (New York City)
Dream Nashville
Dream South Beach
The Dream Hotels promotion allows registered members to earn 1,000 bonus points for every eligible night spent at one of the World of Hyatt-branded Dream Hotels properties, up to 10,000 bonus points. To earn the bonus points, you must pay an eligible rate (which includes standard, member, AAA or senior rates) or stay on a free night award (using points or a free night certificate).
As not all Dream Hotels are in the Hyatt portfolio, it must be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of your stay for it to qualify. You can see the current list of Dream Hotels here.
Finally, you must register for the promotion by Aug. 15, and your stay must fall between July 6 and Sept. 15, 2023.
Earn double points on qualifying international stays
KYLE OLSEN/THE POINTS GUY
Between July 1 and Sept. 15, you can earn double points (up to 25,000 points) from your second qualifying stay at more than 400 participating hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
You must stay on a qualifying rate (i.e., standard, member, AAA or senior rate) to earn the bonus points. Note that, unlike many other hotel promotions, this includes free night stays. If you’re using Hyatt points or a free night certificate, you can earn double points on qualifying incidentals if you meet the promotion’s stipulations.
“For the purpose of this promotion, an ‘Eligible Stay’ is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award,” according to the terms and conditions.
Registration is open until July 31. Note that you must complete registration before checkout of your first eligible stay for it to qualify. While you can earn Hyatt points for multiple rooms, the promotional double points are only available for one room.
You can take advantage of this promotion at any Hyatt in the aforementioned regions, per the promotion’s landing page.
Properties participating in this promotion are all Hyatt branded hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific and participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties and Lindblad Expeditions in these locations.
You can register for the promotion on Hyatt’s website.

Bottom line
Hyatt has just added yet another new promotion across its independent collection of brands — joining previously-announced offers at participating Dreams properties and select international hotels. Registration for all three is now open, so if you have an eligible stay coming up, this can be a great pathway to thousands of bonus points (or a decent rebate on award stays) over the next few months.
As always, even if you don’t have any plans for Hyatt stays, it’s worth registering now just in case your plans change.
If you want to maximize the World of Hyatt program, watch for promotions. And having a World of Hyatt Credit Card in your wallet is not a bad idea to earn more Hyatt points.
