There are many reasons why we love the World of Hyatt program. But the major caveat is that these points can be a bit harder to earn than its hotel counterparts, such as Hilton Honors and Marriott Bonvoy, due to having fewer cobranded credit cards available in the program.
For a long time, Hyatt only had a consumer card (the World of Hyatt Credit Card), which offers terrific benefits for just $95 per year. However, we had hoped for a premium version or a business card to come down the line.
In October 2021, one of those two dreams became a reality with the launch of the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card — with a lucrative welcome offer and a reasonable $199 annual fee. And now, the best-ever offer is back on the card, with new cardholders earning up to 75,000 bonus points.
Let’s take a look at this new card offer.
Current World of Hyatt Business card welcome offer
Through Oct. 18, new World of Hyatt Business Credit Card applicants can earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 in the first three months of account opening, plus another 15,000 points after spending $12,000 in the first six months of account opening.
THE POINTS GUY
This matches the best-ever offer on the card, which ran for the first six months after its launch. Both that and the current welcome offer are for up to 75,000 bonus points. Note that the spending requirement is higher this time: $12,000 in six months instead of the previous $7,500 in three months.
These points can be used across the World of Hyatt portfolio, including brands like Park Hyatt and Andaz and a few hundred Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties. You can also use your points at nearly 60 all-inclusive properties.

Bonus-earning extension for new and current cardholders
Currently, cardholders earn 2 points per dollar spent in their top three spending categories each quarter, a benefit known as the adaptive accelerator benefit. This was previously set to end in 2023.

However, this benefit has now been extended. Cardmembers will continue earning bonus points in their top three spending categories through 2024 and their top two spending categories in 2025 and beyond.
This extension provides new and existing cardholders with substantial bonus-earning opportunities since there is no cap on the bonus points cardholders can earn with this benefit.
Who can apply for the World of Hyatt Business card?
While this card is geared toward business owners — and it’s an especially good card if you frequently stay at Hyatt properties for business travel — non-traditional business owners may be eligible for the card as well.

With any business credit card, you don’t necessarily need a physical storefront or formal company to qualify. Whether you’re self-employed, a freelancer or an Uber driver, you can qualify for a business card — including the World of Hyatt Business Card.
Additionally, if you already carry the personal World of Hyatt Credit Card, you’re eligible to apply for the business version as well. Remember that this card falls under Chase’s 5/24 rule, which means you likely won’t qualify if you’ve opened five or more credit cards (across all issuers) in the past 24 months.

Bottom line
The World of Hyatt Business card is a great option for earning thousands of Hyatt points every year. Plus, at least for the first year, the World of Hyatt Business card is compelling, as it offers applicants the chance to earn up to 75,000 bonus Hyatt points. Offer ends Oct. 18.
And through 2024, cardholders can earn bonus points in their top three spending categories each quarter, which adds a year to the number of categories where you earn bonus points.
