Bilt Rewards is back with several Rent Day promotions for April 1. You can enroll in a World of Hyatt status trial and challenge, earn Bilt points through trivia, enjoy double Bilt points on non-rent purchases and more.
Here’s what you need to know about April’s Rent Day if you participate in the Bilt Rewards program.
World of Hyatt trial and challenge

Between March 28 and April 1, Bilt members — including those without the Bilt Mastercard® (see rates and fees) — can register for a 90-day World of Hyatt Explorist trial.
During the 90-day trial period — which will last from April 17 to July 16 — you can earn World of Hyatt status through Feb. 2025 if you complete the following tasks:
Explorist: Stay 10 qualifying nights.
Globalist: Stay 20 qualifying nights.
If you aren’t a member, you’ll first need to join the World of Hyatt program. You’ll also need to link your Bilt Rewards and Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app under the “Travel” tab. Then, between March 28 and April 1, open the Bilt app and select “Unlock World of Hyatt Elite Status” on the Rent Day tab.
If you do so, you’ll get confirmation that you enrolled in the trial by April 17. Then you’ll enjoy World of Hyatt Explorist perks between April 17 and July 16. Plus you’ll have the opportunity to earn World of Hyatt status through Feb. 2025 based on the qualifying nights you complete between those two dates. You must check out of a stay by July 16 for it to count; qualifying nights completed before April 17 or after July 16 will not count.
A Bilt spokesperson confirmed that award nights qualify, and current World of Hyatt elite members are eligible. However, you can’t match the trial Explorist status to MGM Rewards Gold and won’t earn Hyatt milestone rewards unless you stay the required number of nights for those milestones.

Earn Bilt points through trivia

If you’re good at trivia, you can boost your Bilt Rewards balance on April 1.
Bilt Rewards will give its members five trivia questions through its app on April 1. You’ll get 50 points per correct answer. And, if you get all five questions correct, Bilt will unlock a sixth question worth an extra 100 points.
You could earn 350 Bilt points through trivia on April 1 if you get all six questions correct.

Double Bilt points on non-rent purchases

As on previous Bilt Rent Days, you’ll earn double points when you use your Bilt Mastercard® to make non-rent purchases between midnight EST and 11:59 p.m. PST on April 1 (see rates and fees). You’ll earn as follows for purchases you make on Rent Day:
Dining: 6 points per dollar spent.
Travel: 4 points per dollar spent.
Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar spent.
Rent: 1 point per dollar spent.
You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points during the April 1 Rent Day. However, remember you must use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times each statement period to earn points.
If you are currently earning bonus Bilt points through a promotion — such as the 5X for 5 Days promotion or a category-specific or merchant-specific points promotion — you may not be eligible for double points on Rent Day.

Rent Day social events

If you are a Bilt member and live in the greater Sonoma, New York or Atlanta areas, keep an eye on your email inbox because you might receive an invitation to a member-only social event on April 1.
Bilt is hosting member-only social events on April 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time at the following Hyatt properties:
Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country in Sonoma, California.
Grayson Hotel in New York, New York.
Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.
If you get an invite and choose to attend, you could meet a Bilt staff member and get $10 off your tab. Plus, Bilt says one lucky attendee might win some Bilt points.

Rent Day SoulCycle rides

Finally, Bilt will offer its monthly Rent Day SoulCycle rides on April 1. To participate, buy a SoulCycle class series and book a bike in a Rent Day Ride-themed class at one of the 59 participating locations. Once you do so, you can bring a companion on your April 1 ride for no additional cost.
One lucky rider and their guest who attend an April 1 Rent Day Ride will each get a month of rent paid by Bilt.

If you’re a Bilt Rewards member, you can celebrate the start of April with new Bilt Rent Day promotions. Whether you earn extra rewards through trivia, spending or both, Bilt Rewards’ April Rent Day allows you to boost your points balance.
